PlusGard™
Advanced Guardrail Training
PlusGard™ is
an advanced guardrail that allows the scaffolder to work with
the same level of safety as the user for whom he builds.
To manage the
safer use of Mobile Tower Scaffolds, advanced guardrail systems
have recently been developed to ensure that the operative is
protected from a fall during the erection and dismantling
processes. In conjunction with T5 Health & Safety
Department, we have developed this short course for operatives
who already hold a current PASMA (Prefabricated Access Supplier
and Manufacturers Association) certificate and ID card.
The course includes class tuition together with practical
sessions on-site.
Course Aims
At the end of
the course, delegates will have an awareness and understanding
of Advanced Guardrail Systems and the need to utilise them
correctly to eliminate potential falls from height and maximise
safety whilst assembling, altering and dismantling mobile
aluminium towers.
Certification
Successful
completion of the course will result in the issuance of a
Certificate of Attendance.
Public training
courses take place at our fully equipped Training Centre in
Glasgow or private training, including on-site courses can be
