As an active member of the scaffold industry’s leading body, NASC (National Access & Scaffolding Confederation) and SA-FE (Safe Access Fall Elimination), Turner Access are not only committed to the improvement in standards of Access Products but also the improvement of the safety in use through the provision of nationally recognised scaffold training.
At Turner Access, all system scaffolding training courses are conducted using the PlusEight® Scaffolding System incorporating Collective Protection (Advance Guardrails).
Scaffold Training can also be tailored to meet the customer’s specific needs.
The main objectives of our PlusEight® Sytem Scaffold Training are:
The scaffold training incorporates BEST PRACTICE methodology by incorporating PlusGard™ Advance Guardrail for all scaffolding procedures and practical sessions.
The PlusEight® Scaffold System is the first scaffold product to fully incorporate fall prevention methodology throughout every erection stage, and within all of the main Scaffold configurations.
In the UK, scaffold training can be obtained under CISRS (the Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme) or where on site training is required to meet design specific application, under SA-FE (System Access – Fall Elimination) National registration.
As manufacturers, Turner Access also provide Scaffold Training Courses including the more advanced structures and certification or registration directly, this direct scaffold training delivery is necessary in some industry sectors or specialist activities not covered by National schemes or in Countries where training programmes may not exist.
Aviation Docking, Grandstands, TV, Film & Theatre, and Roof Structures are just some of the instances where PlusEight® Scaffold configurations are special and where invariably on-site scaffold training against the design is more appropriate for the client user.
PlusEight® System Scaffolding can be designed for almost any conceivable configuration and training can also be tailored to suit the needs of the user in relation to that configuration. This might range from the basic safe use involving movement of inside cantilevers (hop-ups) to heavy duty Access or Falsework (shoring) arrangements.
