With the introduction of the Work at Height Regulations and the need to work safely, and more efficiently, a recurring problem is suitable access for building internal blockwork on major construction projects.
The use of the traditional trestle is no longer a viable option. Cost and space implications of scaffolding the inside of the building are also a concern. The area takes up a great deal of space, so much so, that once the scaffold is erected, there is little room for trades to maneuver.
An alternative option would be to erect sections of scaffolding at a time. However, this method relies heavily on the availability of the scaffold contractor. Required to move the scaffold structure every time one section is built can lead to problems with work productivity.
The solution is the PlusEight® Blockwork Scaffold System. Contact us for more information.
