NOF Energy, the business development organisation for the oil, gas, nuclear and offshore wind sectors, has named RBG as the winner of its Innovation and Technology Award at its annual awards.
NOF Energy’s Innovation and Technology award recognises organisations that encourage innovation and the use of new technology to drive business forward. The award also identifies the company that has launched the best new product or service within the last year.
RBG was presented the accolade at the NOF Energy Annual Dinner, which was attended by hundreds of leading industry figures from the UK and international energy sectors.
The award judges highlighted RBG’s ‘PlusGard’ system as a key innovation developed to improve offshore safety and reduce associated costs. The PlusGard, which is a first for the industry, ensures scaffolders can be safely contained within a railed system.
Fraser Coull, Operations Support Director of RBG Ltd, said: “We are continuously looking for ways to successfully harness and develop new technology. I’m very pleased that we have won NOF Energy’s Innovation and Technology Award as it recognises RBG Ltd as a cutting-edge and dynamic organisation.”
George Rafferty, Chief Executive of NOF Energy, said: “Delivering innovation through the use of technology is the lifeblood of the energy sectors. RBG is well-deserving of this award as it is at forefront of creating specialist solutions to improve safety and working practices in the sectors in which is operates.”
RBG is the leading provider of fabric maintenance, construction support and related services to the international oil, gas and petrochemical industries. http://www.rbgltd.com/
