The 2011 Specialists Awards will be hosted in the London Hilton, Park Lane on 22 March 2011.
Turner Access Ltd is a company that prides itself on innovation and commitment to safety improvement. From product design to manufacture and supply, we strive for safer systems of work and better practices throughout the Access Industry.
This year’s Specialists Awards entry features the combination of two innovative access systems, Safespan® and System Scaffold which have helped win numerous contracts around the world due to their unique safety and productivity features.
Safespan® is a unique, cable suspended working platform used predominantly for bridge maintenance and bridge strengthening projects. It provides a large continuous safe working platform area to facilitate multi-operations carried out at the same time. Turner’s Scaffold System is much more than a conventional scaffold system. It combines safety, strength, versatility, and allows for maximum productivity to be achieved.
We are no strangers to winning awards:
As Winners of the Access & Scaffolding Specialist of the Year 2005, 2006 and 2009, and Winners of Best Safety Product at The Health & Safety Awards 2006, Turner Access have been independently judged as the BEST in the Business, supplying the SAFEST access equipment for working safely at height.
In 2005, Turner Access Ltd contributed to winning RoSPA and Working Well Together awards for the Tinsley Viaduct Project. This contributed significantly to the year’s Quality in Construction Awards.
In 1994, a two man crew erected 100m² of System Scaffolding in 19 minutes 59 seconds - a Guinness World Record!
We also hold records for the highest freestanding structure in scaffolding using our System Scaffolding at the Niagara Gorge, USA where a 65m freestanding hexagonal shape structure was erected.
