Turner Access launches an innovation in Advance Guardrail Technology
The award winning scaffold manufacturer pioneers Collective Protection Methodology again with the introduction of BetaGuard® – an Integral Advance Guardrail System (patent pending GB0813177.3).

BetaGuard® provides complete fall prevention throughout the assembly, alteration and dismantle of aluminium towers. Launched at the Executive Hire Show in February, the BetaGuard® has brought yet further recognition for Turner Access.

The product received Finalist status at the Show’s New Product Zone, resulting in the following comment from the judges:

“The panel were impressed by both the concept and design of this system. Reducing the number of components simplifies assembly and hirers’ stock requirements, and this also lessens the likelihood of on-site losses and theft associated with separate bracing members. It promotes safety throughout the assembly and dismantling process, and reduces manual handling during tower erection.”

The BetaGuard® received positive feedback throughout the Show, from nationwide access suppliers to independent hirers. John Cranston of Bathgate Hire Centre noticed immediately the benefits of implementing the BetaGuard® System into his hire stock. With the possibility of contracts being won due to increased productivity and safer systems of work, Mr Cranston moved quickly to secure one of the first production runs.
